Bark Place Avenue Boutique and Spa is a full service doggy salon.  We use nothing but the best professional grade equipment and products. All natural and completely safe for all pets including cats.  Breeds of all kinds can enjoy our day at the spa. Most appointments take 1-2 hours to complete depending on the breed and how often your dog gets groomed.  We leave plenty of time for your dog to not feel rushed.  We even try to fit in some play time at the end. 
Your doggy day at the spa will include:

Brush out: This removes the old coat and reduces shedding.  We can also de-matt during this process.  Depending on the severity of matts there may be an extra charge for de-matting.  Please let us know upon appointment being made that your pup will need extra time for de-matting.

Sanitary trimming: Keeping the sanitary area clean and clear is important for your dog's comfort and will look much better.

Ears: We clean dirt and matter from the ears to reduce or eliminate possible odor and aid in preventing ear infections.  We pluck the excess hair from the ears if needed.

Bath: Your dog will come home smelling clean using our high quality products all natural, chemical free.  Some dogs may require whitening to brighten the coat or possibly an oatmeal medicated shampoo to help with irritated skin.  We can accommodate all situations. 

Nails:  We trim the nails using clippers or a new technique using a grinding tool to smooth out the nails.   

Drying:  We take special care in drying your dog. No giant cage dryers are used in our shop.  We brush out the coat as we are drying.  We us high power hand dryers which leaves such a nice fluff but if your pup is sensitive to noise to have have air dryers, NO HEAT for a more relaxing dry time.

Teeth:  We do brush teeth with your spa day.  We do  however just brush and freshen.  You may require a plaque removal appointment to keep them ever so white and bright.  Most dogs will need a scaling.  Your vet is the only one that can do this for you.

No dog leaves the shop without getting a seasonal bandanna or bow.   We will also spritz your dog with one of our wonderful scents.   If you have a favorite let us know!
